Renovation / Construction of Additional Building to the Existing OPD Building of Spring Valley Divisional Hospital

Project Description

The project involved the construction of a two-story building, covering 3,142 square feet, at Spring Valley Divisional Hospital. The project commenced with the demolition of the existing structure to make way for the new facility. Following this, plinth beams were constructed as a foundation for the building, with floor concreting and anti-termite treatments applied to ensure structural integrity and long-term durability.

The building’s framework was formed using brick walls reinforced with lintels, providing solid structural support. A Zn/Al metal roof was installed, complete with gutters and downpipes to facilitate effective water drainage. Both internal and external walls were finished with cement plastering, and tiling work was carried out on walls and floors to enhance the building’s aesthetics and functionality.

Comprehensive plumbing systems were installed, including the fitting of sanitary wares and sewer connections to ensure efficient waste management. Electrical wiring was meticulously executed, with all necessary fixtures installed to meet safety and operational standards. The final touches included aluminum works for windows and doors, adding strength and a modern appearance to the building. A thorough painting process was undertaken to protect and beautify the structure, completing the project to a high standard of quality.
