Home » Construction of Proposed Hostel Building For Ceylon German Technical Training Institute at Katubedda
The construction of the proposed hostel building for the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute at Katubedda was successfully completed, delivering a modern and fully functional facility designed to accommodate students. The project encompassed a wide array of construction activities, starting with comprehensive site clearing and piling work to ensure a stable foundation. Excavation and earthworks were followed by concrete and masonry work to create the building’s core structure. To enhance durability, waterproofing measures and metal works were incorporated throughout the construction process.
The hostel building was further equipped with high-quality carpentry, roof covering, and roof plumbing to provide robust protection from the elements. Modern plumbing, electrical installations, and external drainage systems were installed to support the building’s functionality. Aesthetically, the project was completed with premium wall, ceiling, and floor finishes, alongside detailed painting work. Specialized elements such as a treatment plant, sump, and pump house were also constructed to ensure efficient water management. This completed project now offers a safe, comfortable, and sustainable living environment for the students of the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute.
